Spain entertained Macedonia in Valencia and rarely looked troubled with young striker Paco Alcácer, in front of his Mestalla faithful, particularly impressive.

Valencia striker Alcácer scored two minutes later, on his competitive debut, to put Spain in the driving seat.

Macedonia won a penalty kick just before the half hour mark, thumped home by Agim Ibraimi, to hand the away side a life-line

Spain opened a fresh two goal lead when Sergio Busquets netted via a slight deflection, his first Spain goal in 70 appearances, just before the break.

Spain eased to victory with a typically confident finish from Man City playmaker David Silva.

Barcelona attacker Pedro netted a fifth at the death.
