Premier League sides interested in Bayer Leverkusen star Karim Bellarabi.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are all sending scouts to keep an eye on the progress of in-form Bayer Leverkusen winger Karim Bellarabi, report the Mirror, after the 24 year-old’s impressive performances at the start of the Bundesliga season earned him a place in Joachim Low’s Germany squad.

Bellarabi has taken his time to live up to his potential at the BayArena, having joined them from second division side Eintracht Braunschweig three years ago, but following a loan spell back with his former club and the appointment of the expansive, forward-thinking Roger Schmidt as manager Bellarabi has really flourished and become one of the most exciting attacking players in the Bundesliga.

Unsurprisingly this has caught the eye of the biggest clubs on the continent, with this Premier League trio reportedly sending their scouts to watch him during this week’s 2-0 Champions League victory over Zenit St. Petersburg in Leverkusen – and being joined by representatives from Manchester City, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.

This level of Premier League interest would indicate that England is the most likely destination for Bellarabi, but a bidding war could well be sparked if they follow up their scouting with an offer for the 24 year-old who Leverkusen are likely to want to keep hold of at all costs.
