Glen Johnson considering international retirement after England snub
The right-back has been excluded from Hodgson’s squad to play Slovenia and Scotland and is considering calling time on his international career as a result, reports the Telegraph.
The 30-year-old has lost his place to Arsenal youngster Calum Chambers and the 19-year-old’s former Southampton teammate Nathaniel Clyne.
Johnson made his debut for the country back in 2003 and was first choice at the back at both the 2010 and 2014 World Cups, as well as Euro 2012.
