Ryan further staked his claim as the Socceroos’ number one after pulling off a number of superb saves to keep the Serie A club scoreless.

Torino boss Giampiero Ventura said Ryan pulled off some “incredible” saves and was the only reason why Torino were denied the three points.

“Faced with a great performance against a very strong team and a goalkeeper who performed at least three or four truly extraordinary saves…” Ventura told Sport Mediaset.

“I have to compliment him; some of those saves were incredible. On Martinez and Larrondo headers from point-blank range, well… The result did not reflect the game.”
