The 15-year-old has reportedly already trained with Real Madrid, Liverpool, Ajax, and Bayern Munich as he searches for the correct club to join after impressing at Norwegian side Stromsgodset. He has also become the youngest ever player to play for Norway in a senior international.
His most recent time training with Bayern Munich had led to rumours that he was going to sign for the club, however these reports would seem to be false if this latest update is to be believed.
On the other hand, the German side’s Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is positive about his chances of signing the prodigy. He said after the trial period, “He is an absolutely exceptional talent and a good guy, very well for his age. We try very hard to him, and I think we have a good chance.”
Arsenal will be hoping to pip the Bundesliga champions to one of the most exciting young footballers in Europe. Meanwhile other possible destinations such as Liverpool and Real Madrid will also be looking to get the teenager’s signature.
