Had to be taken off for being hurt by his own blunder.
Kolo Toure – 5/10
Lasted only marginally longer and was taken off at the half.
Martin Skrtel – 6/10
Made no serious errors, but was the weaker of the two centre-backs.

One of the bright sparks from the afternoon.
Lucas – 6/10
Gave away too many fouls, and didn’t reach the highs of previous weeks.
