The respected Norwegian pundit, who was one of the first to break Mesut Özil’s move to Arsenal in 2013, has taken to Twitter to rubbish the rumours that the BVB stars could potentially be signed by Manchester United when the window opens on January 1st.
Fjortoft says he believes the two German superstars will wait until the summer to decide their future and find out whether Borussia Dortmund would be willing to sell two of their prize assets.
Can’t see Dortmund selling any stars this window. But in the summer….. Could be “SALE” in ever window.

Re: Hummels Bayern got Boateng, Badstuber, Benatia, Martinez and Dante. So: Most likely to go abroad — Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) December 27, 2014
The former Nottingham Forest defender also threw cold water on Manchester United’s potential pursuit of Hummels particularly but hinted Louis Van Gaal could be tempted to go all out for the German’s signature as Bayern Munich would most likely not be interested in his signature
Manchester United don’t buy Germans… Moyes very close if given another window. Van Gaal would love to “go German” #MUFC

In news that will be of particular interest to Arsenal and Liverpool fans, Fjortfort also claimed that if Reus and Hummels both eventually ended up leaving Dortmund, Jurgen Klopp would most likely question his position at the club too.
IF…Dortmund sell Reus and Hunmels in the summer, Klopp must ask himself: – Am I motivated to build a new team again. I doubt it… — Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) December 27, 2014
