White Hart Lane side chase Baggies ace.
Tottenham are lining up an opening offer of £10m for West Brom starlet Saido Berahino according to the Daily Telegraph.
The 21 year old Baggies striker may well be keen on a high-profile move but one imagines that the offer cited by this source is some way below that which Alan Irvine’s side would consider.
Berahino has been in fine form this term, racking up seven goals in 15 Premier League appearances, and is on the fringes of a first senior England cap having impressed with the Under 21 side.
Mauricio Pochettino could well do with strengthening his attack given the fact that Erik Lamela, Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado have all failed to net regularly this term.
This source suggests that West Brom could consider offers for Berahino to help fund a bid for Burnley forward Danny Ings.
