Turkish reports claim Besiktas are interested in signing the 19-year-old prodigy, but the deal could be scuppered as Chelsea are thought to be unwilling to negotiate a permanent deal.
Ake has been tipped for a bright future with the Blues, but has been in the match day squad on just three occasions this term, seeing only 104 minutes of action during his senior career.
But despite his inactivity, boss Jose Mourinho has refused to sanction a loan move for the Dutchman as he is an admirer of the player and would prefer to monitor his development from closer quarters.
Besiktas have already been linked with various Chelsea stars including Mohamed Salah, Kurt Zouma and Petr Cech but nothing has yet materialised.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman hinted that a move for Ake would be more plausible by saying: “We have a very good relationship with Chelsea. Will we do business with them in January? Why not?”
