The Foxes have apparently managed to get the striker ahead of Premier League leaders Chelsea, which is quite a coup for the relegation threatened side.
The youngster may have wanted to move to the King Power Stadium as it is far more likely that he would get game time at the less fashionable team. At Stamford Bridge he would have had to compete with Diego Costa, Loic Remy, and Didier Drogba to get on the pitch.
The 23-year-old is in the midst of an incredibly prolific season at current club Rijeka, scoring 21 goals in 18 Croatian top flight appearances. He has also managed to grab five goals in just six matches in the Europa League. The former Dinamo Zagreb player has also bagged two in four games for the Croatian national team.
