The 30 year old has become something of an outcast at White Hart Lane with the former Arsenal and Man City man having not started a Spurs game since November 2nd.
Parma are desperate to sign a striker this month and are keen on Adebayor but his £100k a week salary is well in excess of what they are willing to fork out.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is keen to offload Adebayor and may do so cheaply in order to have his wages wiped off the club’s balance sheet.
Adebayor experienced a resurgence under Tim Sherwood, racking up 11 goals in 20 Premier League starts last term, but has managed just two goals in a dozen matches this term.
There is also said to be interest in Adebayor from sides in Qatar and in the MLS.
