The groups are as follows:
Group 1: Santos, Queretaro, Mineros de Zacatepec, Atletico San Luis
Group 2: Monterrey, Veracruz, Correcaminos, Altamira
Group 3: Xolos, Leones Negros, Coras de Tepic, Necaxa
Group 4: Chivas, Lobos BUAP, Irapuato, Dorados de Sinaloa
Group 5: Toluca, Puebla, Atlante, Merida
Group 6: Pumas, Chiapas, Alebrijes de Oaxaca, Zacatepec
The draw has thrown up some interesting ties – with a local derby between Coras de Tepic and Leones Negros in Group 3, a derby between Atlante and Merida in Group 5, and a derby between Chiapas and Alebrijes de Oaxaca in Group 6.
The first games start on Tuesday 20th January. The current holders are Santos Laguna, who beat Puebla in the final.
Sides involved in the Copa Libertadores or the CONCACAF Champions League do not take part.
