United join Arsenal in pursuit of Blues reject.
Manchester United are the latest club to be linked with a move for former Chelsea attacking mifielder Kevin de Bruyne, who is not interested in leaving his current club Wolfsburg, according to the Daily Star.
The Belgian international is in top form at the moment in Germany, despite struggling to make an impression during his time at Stamford Bridge, where he was perhaps not given enough of a chance in Jose Mourinho’s side.
De Bruyne is now fully focused on helping Wolfsburg reach the Champions League next season as they look to build on a strong first half of the season, with the 23-year-old proving to be one of their most inspired performers.
His fine form also attracted some interest from Arsenal, but both clubs now face missing out on the skillful playmaker as he is happy to continue playing regularly and developing with his current club.
“De Bruyne is feeling very good,” his agent Patrick Koster was quoted by the Daily Star.
“After a difficult period at Chelsea he is finally playing continuously.
“He does not want to move. He’s only concentrating on [getting Wolfsburg] to the Champions League.”
