Jack Grealish fined after complaining about being unhappy at Villa Park.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has flexed his muscles by fining young winger Jack Grealish for a recent post that he made on social networking website Twitter, report the Mail, with the Republic of Ireland youth international having intimated that he is currently not enjoying his football at Villa Park.

Grealish uploaded an imagine of him playing on loan in League One with Notts County with a caption saying that he wanted to enjoy his football again, perhaps an allusion to the fact that he has been on the fringes in the West Midlands since returning from his time at Meadow Lane, where he played a starring role in the Magpies’ escape from relegation last year.

Lambert has reportedly held a meeting with the teenager in a bid to clear the air, whilst the offending tweet has been deleted from Grealish’s account – and Lambert indicated that he thinks the player should focus more on his football rather than tweeting:

“I think he should stay off tweeting, that’s what I think. I wasn’t happy. I told him to concentrate on football. I don’t think anybody needs to know he’s boiling an egg, you know. Personally nobody’s asked me for Jack (on loan).”

A host of Championship clubs have been linked with a loan move for Grealish, who is regarded as the best player of his generation to emerge from the Aston Villa academy.
