Crystal Palace have entered the race to sign Bolton Wanderers’ South Korean international Lee Chung-Yong as Alan Pardew looks to strengthen before the transfer window slams shut according to reports in the Daily Mail.

Palace boss Alan Pardew has already signed £4.75m midfielder Jordan Mutch from QPR and Shola Ameobi and now faces a chase with Italian club Fiorentina for Chung-Yong’s signature.

The Bolton player only has six months left to run on his contract and as such his club are willing to accept bids of £500,000 for him to avoid a free transfer this summer.
