Burnley’s Danny Ings not heading to Spain, with a summer move to Liverpool a more likely destination.

Burnley striker Danny Ings hasn’t agreed a pre-contract agreement with David Moyes’s Real Sociedad and wants a move to Liverpool in the summer instead, according to David Anderson from the Mirror.

Ings is out of contract in the summer and, due to current regulations, was able to negotiate with foreign clubs as of this January which led to rumours of a move to Real Sociedad being agreed (via Daily Mail).

However, that is not the case according to the latest reports with the forward keen on a summer move to Liverpool instead as Burnley continue to fight relegation.

A constant presence at U-21 level for England, Ings has shown his potential in the top flight and it seems as though his time at Turf Moor is coming to an end, regardless of what division Sean Dyche’s men are playing in next season.
