Rodgers should forget Saido Berahino and sign Danny Ings instead says club legend
Jamie Carragher says that West Bromwich Albion forward Berahino is not what his former club needs and Burnley’s Ings would be a much better summer purchase.
The Merseysiders have been strongly linked with both Englishmen in recent times and although Carragher believes the Baggies man has more class on the pitch, he worries about his attitude.
“The way Ings comes across and the way Berahino comes across, you think will there be a problem with Berahino, maybe an attitude problem? With Ings, you hear him speak, he says: ‘Let your football do the talking’,” the 37-year-old told Sky Sports.
