QPR bad-boy has laid into ex-manager Harry Redknapp.
Joey Barton is not afraid to be outspoken. In-between quoting philosophers and getting sent off, he regularly finds time to launch scathing attacks on anyone who he feels deserves it.

The latest to feel his wrath is his former QPR boss Harry Redknapp. Redknapp left QPR earlier this month citing a necessary surgery as the reason. Whether or not that is the real reason, QPR were better in their 2-0 win over Sunderland tonight than they had been in a long time.
Joey Barton is not surprised by the upturn in form. In his post match comments he told the assembled media “The training intensity has gone up. The standard in training has gone up. It’s the best we’ve warmed up all season. By a mile.”
Many think that Redknapp could have hung up his managerial boots after walking away from QPR, but if many more of his ex-players come out with such derogatory remarks he might not have many offers coming his way anyway.
The club’s eleven game away game losing streak was ended thanks to first half goals from Leroy Fer and Bobby Zamora. Barton picked up a yellow card.
