Steven Gerrard will be wearing extra long studs for their Europa League tie…
Besiktas forward Demba Ba has said that he is ready to break Liverpool fans’ dreams for the second time in less than a year, reports the Daily Mirror.
The Senegal international played a big part in ending the Reds’ title charge last season when he took advantage of Steven Gerrard’s slip to score in Chelsea’s victory at Anfield.
He will play against the Merseyside club for the Turkish side in their Europa League clash on Thursday. Since moving to Turkey he has continued this goal scoring form, netting 22 times already this season.
The 29-year-old was a relative success in his last season in the Premier League. He scored five times in 19 matches, with only five of those appearances were in the starting XI. He will definitely be a player that Brendan Rodgers will need a plan to contain.
Liverpool are expected to take the Europa League seriously, with a Champions League spot available to the winner.
