Italy Manager Bizarrely Full Of Advice For Tottenham Ahead Of Europa League Tie v Fiorentina

Pochettino given the heads up…

Italy manager Antonio Conte has strangely given Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino some tips ahead of their Europa League clash with Fiorentina.

Spurs host the Serie A outfit at White Hart Lane on Thursday night, and Conte has decided to offer the North London club a little guidance on the weak points of Fiorentina.

The Italy boss has been visiting Tottenham’s £5m training complex, and the club must certainly have made an impact for him to dish out tips on the opposition:

“Fiorentina’s centre forward is slow and lazy and the full-backs don’t mark up properly,” the 45-year-old was quoted by the Mirror.

“I would like to see Fiorentina win, but I think Spurs have the better team and are vastly superior.”

If Conte’s comments are anything to go by, Spurs should feel confident ahead of the clash, with the big talking-point being whether the Italian side can stop Tottenham hit-man Harry Kane.
