Hammers boss slams racist fans for ruining the game.
West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has hit out at fans like the Chelsea supporters who were involved in the Paris Metro incident this week for giving others in football a bad name.
Speaking to the Sun, Allardyce said that a lot of good work has gone into making these incidents far less common than they used to be, but that more needs to be done to wipe it out from the game entirely.
“It is something we should not stop continuing to work at and wipe out as much as we possibly can,” the Hammers boss said.
“It tarnishes too many people who are very good supporters. These incidents are rarer and that in itself is something we have all worked very hard at.”
