Reds join running for in-demand youngster.
Liverpool look set to join Arsenal in the pursuit of highly-rated Juventus striker Alvaro Morata in the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Express.
The Spanish starlet has been in highly impressive form in Serie A this season, showing his tremendous potential since quitting Real Madrid for Juve last summer.
Morata has been linked with Premier League clubs in the past, with Arsenal known to be long-time admirers of his after becoming a highly regarded talent at the Bernabeu.
The 22-year-old will cost more than the £14.5m Juventus paid for him this season, but looks well worth the investment as both the Gunners and the Reds chase new blood upfront.
