WBR – Lazar Markovic
With Jordan Ibe still unfit to play, Markovic will continue in the role he did reasonably well in at the weekend. The winger has impressed in fits and starts this season and will hope to perform well against a relegation threatened side.
CM – Joe Allen
Pulled a performance out of the top drawer against Manchester City to go with his recent improvement. Allen will hope he can continue this trend in midweek.
CM – Jordan Henderson
Henderson will want to pick up exactly where he left off, having scored a cracker and playing a very impressive game against the Premier League champions. The more the England international plays, the more he looks like a Steven Gerrard replacement.
WBL – Alberto Moreno
Played very well against Besiktas and contributed to a great team performance at home to Manchester City. Burnley’s full-backs will be susceptible to pace and Moreno will look to exploit that.
