Italian paper Gazzetta Dello Sport have revealed that Inter Milan owner Erick Thohir is willing to pay £43.5 million for Manchester City star Yaya Toure.

Former Citizens boss Roberto Mancini is now in charge of the Serie A club, and it would seem that he is keen to work with the Ivory Coast international again. The pair won the Premier League and the FA Cup while together at the Etihad, and would surely want to emulate that success at the San Siro.
The report mentions how Mancini has already claimed that the midfielder wants to play in Serie A. At 31-years-old the Sky Blues may be willing to let their inspirational star go, especially after a season in which they have failed to win a single trophy and for such a high price. Letting the former Barcelona man leave could be part of a wider rebuilding of what is an ageing squad.
