The Atletico Paranaense playmaker took to Twitter to confirm that he was in the England capital to undergo tests at the Blues’ Cobham training base this week, and is thrilled to be nearing a move to the Premier League title leaders.
He said, “Very happy!!! London to sign my contract with Chelsea and do tests.
“Thanks to all for the care and reception.”

As one of the most exciting prospects in his homeland, and with competition from Manchester City (via the Daily Mail), the Stamford Bridge outfit aren’t interested in taking their time with securing the teenager’s signature.
According to the Daily Star, the Blues are keen to get the reported £4.7m deal wrapped up quickly, and could confirm the signing of the 19-year-old by the end of the week.
