Serie A champions Juventus are one of several top Italian clubs reportedly pursuing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb.
The London Evening Standard claims the 20-year-old is in discussions to extend his contract at White Hart Lane but that has not deterred Juventus, who are joined by Napoli, Roma and Lazio in the race to secure his signature.
Bentaleb, who has been with the club since his mid-teens, still has three years remaining on his current deal but the north London outfit are keen for him to sign on the dotted line for the rest of this decade.
He has been a regular fixture in the side this term despite the fact that he is learning his trade on the job. Bentaleb has made 31 appearances for Spurs in all competitions so far in the 2014-15 campaign, picking up 10 yellow cards in the process.
The youngster has formed an impressive partnership with England’s Ryan Mason at the heart of the midfield engine room, and the club looks likely to build a team around them in the coming years.
