Zaza transfer
The 23 year old is seemingly set for a summer transfer with his agent, Christian Maifredi,talking up the possibility of a transfer, stating;
‘We’ll think about the transfer market after this season, but we know teams are interested,’
‘He’s always trying to improve, this is his second season in Serie A and he’s been capped by the national team. I have no doubts about his ability.’
Indeed Zaza has proven very effective since moving to Sassuolo, having initially been signed by Juventus, grabbing 17 goals in 48 Serie A starts over the past two campaigns.
Juventus have first refusal on Zaza but given their raft of goal-scoring options it’s likely they will pass on a deal which could leave the way open for White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The Metro claim Zaza is worth a very affordable £13m and given the lack of goals from the likes of Roberto Soldado, Erik Lamela and Emmanuel Adebayor, a move for the Italian international would be a sensible one to consider.
But for Harry Kane’s efforts, 30 goals in all competitions, Pochettino’s side would be meandering around mid-table and not pushing for a top six finish.
