White Hart Lane side to land FC Porto ace.
Tottenham are set to bring in FC Porto goal machine Jackson Martinez according to the Metro.
The north London side have been heavily reliant on youngster Harry Kane and Mauricio Pochettino would do well to bring in another goal-scoring option.
The likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Roberto Soldado and Erik Lamela have all failed to offer adequate support to Kane and Martinez may be the right man for the job.
The 28 year old Colombian has proven a massive hit in Portugal, bagging 88 goals in 128 appearances, but FC Porto look set to lose out in the title race to Benfica for the second season in succession and that may well lead to Martinez considering his options.
The Metro claims that though Arsenal are keen on the powerful marksman Martinez apparently favours a move to Spurs and that a deal has been ‘accepted’.
