There is a history of bizarre claims attached to the Korean leader and his now deceased father, with impossible golf scores and other feats apparently managed by the pair. This latest one seems to believe that Jong-Un is one of the best footballers in the world.

The 34-year-old played his last ever Anfield game on Saturday. Although it ended with the Reds losing 1-3 to Crystal Palace, the match was still an emotional occasion for fans around the globe. Gerrard has played 706 times, scoring 183 goals, over a 17 career for the Merseyside club. 114 appearances for England also mean he will leave some big boots to fill for coming generations at Liverpool.

However, somehow it seems unlikely that he learnt all of this from a North Korean leader that he has never met!
