PSG are looking to sign Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann ahead of both Chelsea and Bayern Munich, reports AS.
The Ligue 1 champions are aiming to nab the France international as part of a deal taking Edinson Cavani to the Vicente Calderon. However, the Rojiblancos are keen to get cash for the forward, who scored an impressive 25 goals in 54 appearances during his debut campaign. His release clause is €65 million, but this would be a straight swap were it to go through.
This could be bad news for the Blues and their German counterparts, who are both competing with PSG for the 24-year-old’s signature. The Stamford Bridge outfit are looking for a new striker after Didier Drogba announced that he is leaving the club. Griezmann’s ability to play out wide will also be enticing for Jose Mourinho.
While Eden Hazard has made the left wing his own, neither Juan Cuadrado or Willian has impressed enough to regularly play on the right. If they signed the former Real Sociedad man it could better balance their side.
