It is claimed that around £25m could be enough for the Gunners to land their top target in the middle of the park, with Juve preparing some ambitious transfer moves of their own this summer.

Having won a fourth consecutive Serie A title and reached the Champions League final against Barcelona, Massimiliano Allegri’s side are keen to continue their recent dominance and bring in some of the world’s best players, aiming for two superb strikers to boost their attack.

Juventus are already closing in on a deal to sign Paulo Dybala from Palermo, and they also hope to land Edinson Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Daily Mirror.

This could see Arsenal succeed with an offer for Vidal, who may also be replaced in midfield by free agent Sami Khedira.
