Chelsea 2014/15 player ratings: New signing gets 9/10 along with Eden Hazard & John Terry

Nemanja Matic – Perhaps the best defensive midfielder in the world, the Serbian was outstanding in his first full season at Stamford Bridge, playing a major role in the club’s success. 8.5/10.

Cesc Fabregas – A terrific signing from Barcelona, former Arsenal man Cesc Fabregas started superbly for the Blues before fading slightly, but has to go down as a big success overall. 8/10.

Willian – An underrated winger who works hard defensively, Willian was a regular for Mourinho throughout the season and clearly has an important part to play in this side. 7/10.

Andre Schurrle – Sold to Wolfsburg halfway through the season, the German winger still showed some class when used, scoring in games against Burnley and Manchester City despite limited playing time. 6.5/10.

Oscar – A brilliant young player improving all the time, the Brazilian playmaker had a fine season with eight goals and eight assists confirming his status in the team. 8/10.
