Speculation over the world-class Czech international’s move to the Gunners has increased in the past week and Mirror Sport reported that the deal could be confirmed at the weekend and that the veteran was set to become the highest-paid goalkeeper in the club’s rich history.
However, Lauren, who was part of the last Arsenal squad to win the league title in the 2003-04 season, either has inside information at the club or has spoken too soon and got caught up in all the latest rumours.
#All the best to Cech. Long time without stability in that position and another great gooner move to get the Premier League.

The former Cameroon international believes signing Cech will help the Gunners mount a challenge for the league title next season and is happy to finally see his former club strengthening that department.
It would appear a deal between the two London rivals for the transfer of Cech is close and it would represent a major piece of business by the Gunners, who would finally have a top stopper in between the sticks.
The 33-year-old has won every single major club trophy available to him since joining Chelsea 11 years ago and won his fourth Premier League winner’s medal last season.
