Arsenal WONDERKID confirms new long-term contract at Emirates in REVEALING post

Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin has taken to social media to confirm that he has signed a new long-term contract at the Emirates.

The right-back has been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer; however, the 20-year-old put an end to the speculation by extending his future in north London.

He made 20 appearances in the Premier League last season, with few in England’s top flight able to better his performances in his defensive position – making it little wonder that Barca were said to have been interested.

Have a look at his Instagram post:

Interestingly, his caption – in which he describes the Gunners as the club ‘that put trust in me’ – suggests that the faith he has received over the past season may have been crucial in his decision to extend his stay.

Had it not have been for an injury to Mathieu Debuchy last September, Arsene Wenger may not have handed the youngster his chance to impress in the English capital.

Debuchy now certainly faces a challenge to force Bellerin out of the Arsenal line-up.
