The trio of players were individual in the victory, each scoring once as Louis van Gaal’s side continued their superb preparations.
The game was particularly special for Depay.
The Netherlands international—who featured under van Gaal for the national side—was signed by United earlier in the summer, but has taken some time to assert himself with the north-west giants.
He finally broke his duck against San Jose Earthquakes, scoring eight minutes before the break after capitalising on some dire defending from the Major League Soccer outfit.
The former PSV hitman, writing on his @Memphis Twitter handle after the match, shared a photo taken to mark the achievement.
