Although few would argue that Manchester United have had a very good summer transfer window so far, here’s a look at five players they should have beaten their rivals to this summer, including Liverpool’s new striker Christian Benteke…
1) Christian Benteke (Liverpool)
With Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao leaving, it’s hard to understand why United have not yet signed a new striker, especially when the excellent Christian Benteke was available for just £32.5m and has now moved to rivals Liverpool in what looks like one of the best moves of the summer.
