Liverpool transfer news: 3 in, 3 out as Reds offload attacking duo to sign Arsenal target & Bundesliga pair

Liverpool transfer news – late changes at Anfield this summer?

There could be further Liverpool transfer news before the end of the summer as the Reds look set to offload some fairly big names before bringing more new additions in.

Manager Brendan Rodgers urgently needs to build a squad that can make it back into the Premier League’s top four, and it looks like he has identified some weaknesses in his squad, with some fine replacements being targeted.

The changes in the final days of the summer transfer window could be as follows:

Out – Lazar Markovic

Heading out on loan to Fenerbahce in a surprise move, youngster Lazar Markovic appears to have fallen out of favour after an unconvincing first season at Anfield last year.

In – Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Borussia Dortmund)

A likely replacement in the attacking midfield area, Borussia Dortmund playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan is back on Liverpool’s radar after a failed move for him in 2013.
