Anfield side chase top-qualify attacker.

Liverpool are planning a last-ditch move to sign Dynamo Kiev forward Andriy Yarmolenko according to Italian source TuttoMercato.

Brendan Rodgers has brought in a host of new additions over the summer but could still be in the market for a fresh attacking addition having successfully offloaded Mario Balotelli, Fabio Borini and Rickie Lambert.

Arsenal have previously shown an interest in the £18m rated Ukraine international (via the Daily Star) and if Rodgers wants to lure the 25-year-old to Merseyside then he will have to act fast as we are approaching the very last hours of the summer transfer window.

Yarmolenko helped his side to a domestic title last season, netting 19 goals in all competitions, and has already scored six times in 2015/16.

Rodgers has brought in Christian Benteke and Danny Ings to boost his attack but is still without long term injured England man Daniel Sturridge and the Northern Irish manager may feel an additional attacker would be a sensible addition to make before the transfer window slams shut.
