(Video) Manchester United star suffers HORROR INJURY vs. PSV; Louis van Gaal’s WORST NIGHTMARE

There’s some disastrous news for Manchester United and England fans, as Luke Shaw has broken his leg during the Red Devils’ Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven.

The replay below shows the clash with Hector Moreno, which ensured that the defender was stretchered off the pitch in need of oxygen.

Moreno’s reaction also tells its own story, with the PSV defender clearly distraught with his act, which was a fair tackle.

At half-time during the contest in Eindhoven, BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey confirmed that the player was on his way to hospital.

The team at Caught Offside wish Shaw well, although the prognosis doesn’t look good, not for United—who replaced the former Southampton defender with Marcos Rojo—or for England, who will be waiting anxiously on the defender’s fitness ahead of the 2016 European Championships next summer.

Shaw has endured an injury-hit time at Old Trafford since making the move up north from Southampton in 2014.

The defender missed much of the last campaign through injury—making only 16 appearances—and would do well to beat that tally this term after his recent horrendous misfortune.
