Chelsea captain John Terry WANTED by Fenerbahce and several Chinese sides

Chelsea skipper John Terry has become the subject of growing transfer speculation due to his recent spell on the Blues bench and there is no shortage of interest in the centre-back according to the Daily Mirror.

The 34-year-old defender played every single minute of Chelsea’s successful Premier League title winning campaign in 2014/15 but has been dropped for a number of fixtures this term, seemingly being something of a scapegoat for the poor form shown by Jose Mourinho’s side overall.

Terry has started four of Chelsea’s seven Premier League fixtures this season and Mourinho has opted to use a central defensive pairing of Kurt Zouma and Gary Cahill in recent matches though this hasn’t prevented the West London side from losing at home to Crystal Palace and failing to overcome struggling Newcastle United over the weekend.

Terry proved a big success when on an ambassadorial tour of China last summer and this is part of the basis of apparent interest from sides in the Chinese Premier League but perhaps a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce, who are also keen, would prove more tempting.

The Chelsea legend is out of contract in the summer.
