Can’t be faulted for effort as he sacrificed himself for the team, and was surprisingly substituted early in the second half.
Wayne Rooney – 7/10
It may not be vintage Rooney but he does his job for the team and was finally rewarded with a huge goal for the club, his manager and himself.

Didn’t influence the game in a big way after coming the bench, but played his role in protecting the lead.

Looked lively despite only having limited minutes, will hope to make more of an impact next time out.
