Transfer report: Chelsea to raid Premier League rivals for three British youngsters

Chelsea are believed to be looking to rebuild their flagging squad around young British talent and will raid a number of their Premier League rivals for three prodigious talents, according to the Daily Express.

Due to the club’s recent problems, the side are being tipped to make a shift in their transfer policy and the club are thought to be tacking Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, Newcastle defender Jamaal Lascelles and Tottenham’s Danny Rose.

Everton defender John Stones remains high on their list of priorities, while Crystal Palace centre-back Scott Dann has emerged as a shock target with the club believing that he is a player that can come in and do a job straight away.

Chelsea’s squad has a current lack of English talent running through it, with midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek the only player to make his way through the ranks recently.

However, he has struggled to make an impact in the first team, leaving Mourinho keen to seek out more young players from elsewhere.
