Arsenal have recalled young midfielder Serge Gnabry from his loan spell with West Bromwich albion after agreeing to exercise the option to bring him back to London, the Daily Telegraph reports.
The Germany youth international has struggled for game time at the Hawthornes this season, making just two appearances since joining on a season long loan over the summer.
And in those two games he has amassed a paltry 12 minutes of action, and hasn’t made an appearance in the match day squad since the club’s 3-0 defeat at the hands of Norwich during September’s Capital One Cup clash.
However, The Telegraph reports that the 20-year-old will more than likely make his way back out of the club on loan for the remainder of the campaign, with a number of clubs in the Championship believed to be interested in his signature.
Gnabry is highly-rated at The Emirates, but has yet to make any sort of meaningful impact in the side yet.
