It’s often said that footballers have lost the common touch as disillusioned fans hark back to the days when players travelled the city alongside the fans on public busses and trains.

But Petr Cech has proved that he is not above that, despite earning a reported £100,000-per-week, as he was snapped riding a rush hour train amid hundreds of commuters.

Pictured on a London Southwest train service,Cech obviously still lives in Surrey near Chelsea’s old training base.

Looking rather distinguished, Cech was reportedly travelling with his family and looked happy and relaxed even though all eyes must have been on him for the duration of the journey.
