Which Chelsea, Man City, Barcelona transfer target has Zidane identified as ‘extraordinary’?

Zinedine Zidane may be banned from signing new players for Real Madrid, but the French legend has dropped a major hint as to who he would sign if he could.

It’s no secret that Zizou is a major admirer of Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard, but he’s also quite taken by Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba—at least if his recent comments are to be believed.

“Pogba is an extraordinary player,” the iconic ex-playmaker gushed in a press conference ahead of Real’s La Liga bout against Sporting Gijon on Sunday [as per Goal], in a comment which is set to send the transfer-rumour mill into overdrive.

The box-to-box midfielders continues to develop into one of the world’s finest players in his position, and has been courted by the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Barcelona in recent times.

Those three teams’ hopes of signing Pogba will surely have been boosted by Real’s transfer ban, with the Merengues essentially taken out of the equation for the signing of the midfield powerhouse—at least until the 2017-18 season.

Juve may also feel that they’ve got a much better chance of holding onto the French international knowing that Real won’t be able to make a concrete bid for his services any time soon.
