TWO Premier League giants ready to rival Arsenal for Javier Hernandez signature

Premier League big guns Liverpool and Tottenham are apparently preparing to rival Arsenal for the signature of Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez, according to Spanish publication Don Balon.

The Mexican international has enjoyed a tremendous maiden season in the Bundesliga, but the report claims that he has recently dropped the hint that he could be ready to make an early move back to the Premier League.

Arsenal have previously been linked with his signature, but Don Balon believe that Liverpool’s striker problems have put them right in the mix to snap him up.

The Reds are currently nursing injuries to strike par Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi, while Christian Benteke is yet to truly impress new manager Jurgen Klopp.

However, Tottenham are also prepared to throw their hat into the ring with their own offer, as they continue to look for someone to help ease the pressure from Harry Kane’s shoulders.
