Liverpool starlet Sheyi Ojo scored with this brilliant effort against Exeter City in the FA Cup at Anfield on Wednesday night to double his side’s lead.
The 18-year-old produced a superb finish as he received the ball with his marker in front of him on the right hand side of the area. The talented youngster nonchalantly curled his effort into the top left corner to leave the Anfield faithful on their feet and helped secure his side’s progress to the next round.
Jurgen Klopp’s side had struggled to convince and put the game to bed prior to the strike, but Ojo certainly woke up the supporters in attendance and will have relished scoring in front of the Kop.
The goal added to Joe Allen’s early opener after 10 minutes, and it looks as though the Reds will advance to the fourth-round where they will host fellow Premier League side West Ham United.
Meanwhile, Ojo and several other youngsters in action will hope that they have done enough to impress Klopp, with a view of breaking into the team on a more regular basis as the season progresses.
Liverpool return to action at the weekend when they visit Norwich City in the Premier League, as they hope to now build some momentum in the coming weeks.
