Real Madrid turn attentions toward Tottenham stopper Hugo Lloris

La Liga giants Real Madrid have reportedly lined up Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris as a potential transfer target ahead of the summer window, according to French publication Buzzsport.

Following the exit of long-term ‘keeper Iker Casillas last summer, the side from the capital have been on the lookout for new number one, and tried and failed to sign Manchester United’s David de Gea.

However, despite de Gea being their main focus, it is believed that Lloris was another name being mentioned as a potential successor.

And having caught the eye with his performances for Spurs, it is thought that new Real coach Zinedine Zidane will now turn his eyes back towards the France international to take over from current first choice Keylor Navas.

Though Navas has been in good form for the club during his spell there, Madrid are eager to have a more high profile name in between the sticks going forward.
