Twitter reactions: Liverpool fans orgasm over stunning Coutinho goal vs Man United

Philippe Coutinho scored a sublime goal to level things up on the night against Manchester United during their Europa League last 16 clash, and the internet has positively exploded in its wake.

The Brazilian showed a real turn of pace to get away from United’s young right-back Guillermo Varela, but the angle he created for himself looked impossibly tight. David de Gea came out to challenge for the ball, but Coutinho somehow managed to chip the Spaniard beautifully.

Neutrals and Liverpool fans were absolutely loving it on Twitter, and we’ve collected a few of the best ones for you below:

The 23-year-old’s goal makes it 1-1 on the night, but over the course of the two legs it’s a massive goal. Liverpool came into the game with a 2-0 lead from the first game at Anfield, and this away goal has now given Manchester United a mountain to climb. It’s 3-1 on aggregate, but Louis van Gaal’s side need to score another three to cancel out Liverpool’s goal at Old Trafford.
