According to sources in Spain, Sevilla are keen on signing Anderlecht midfielder Dennis Praet, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent transfer windows.
Fichajes have reported that the Rojiblancos are keen on signing the Belgian youngster, with the 21-year-old being encouraged to leave the confines of the Jupiler League.
The attacking midfielder’s agent Jaques Lichtenstein insisted—speaking to Voetbal International [via the Daily Star]—that his player had achieved all he could at the Constant vanden Stock Stadium, while Belgium U-21 coach and Red Devils legend Enzo Scifo has also backed the talent to move to a major side sooner rather than later.
It remains to be seen whether Sevilla will yet face competition from Liverpool, with the Mirror [via the Star as above] noting recently that Jurgen Klopp was keen on the playmaker.
While the Reds ultimately didn’t move for the starlet during the January transfer window as planned, observers are expecting the German coach to embark on a major transfer overhaul at Anfield this summer, and Praet may well be targeted.
